ChatGPT could soon be capable of replying to text messages on behalf of users thanks to a Python script that can be used to integrate ChatGPT into WhatsApp.

The new development comes courtesy of developer Daniel Gross and utilises the AI-based ChatGPT’s conversational abilities to respond to text messages on the popular instant messaging platform. However, the feature is not yet official and neither OpenAI nor Meta have officially rolled out support for AI-based messaging on their platforms.
